The Norstar Modular Integrated Communications System (ICS) is a key
system designed for growing small-to-medium businesses and is
expandable up to 248 ports. Advanced integrated applications include
voice messaging, unified messaging, digital networking, enhanced call
centers and speech recognition. The Modular ICS can grow with your
business through the addition of trunk and station modules as you need
them.

Question/Concern: We've looked at several systems, all with plenty of features. If the features are too complicated, our people won't use them.

Answer: All Norstar telephone sets have an LCD display that prompts the user
through the use of the features, reducing and even eliminating the need
for training.

Question/Concern: I'm impressed with Norstar's growth, but I don't see my business growing in size. Is the Norstar really the system for me?

Answer: Norstar's modular design provides the option for the system to
cost-effectively grow as the business grows, but you will not incur
unnecessary costs for capabilities you will not be using.

Question/Concern: Do I need a PC to make the system work?

Answer: No. Although Norstar offers value-added applications using the PC, they are enhancements to the system, not a requirement.

Question/Concern: Can other equipment, such as fax machines and credit card verification devices, be connected
to Norstar?

Answer: The Norstar ICS has a standard built-in analog port for the connection
of such devices. There are also analog modules that can be connected to
the system depending on the number of analog devices required.

Question/Concern: Will I have to "redo" my system's programming as new features evolve?

Answer: The Norstar system is designed to accommodate updates and protect you
from its becoming obsolete. Updating to new software features is as
simple as changing a VCR tape.

Question/Concern: Norstar looks like the system to meet my needs today, but what if I want to move to a Voice over IP solution in the future?

Answer: With Norstar, a large part of your initial investment is protected
because your Norstar telephone sets and the Norstar fiber trunk and
station modules can be easily migrated to the Business Communications
Manager.

Question/Concern: When programming changes are made and telephone sets are moved, does the Norstar system remain in
service?

Answer: Yes. The only system components that are possibly affected are the
features being programmed and the sets being moved. The system remains
completely intact.

	The Norstar T7100 Telephone is an entry level, single-line telephone designed for public areas such as lobbies, cafeterias, hallways, break rooms, or other locations where use is occasional.
	The Norstar T7208 Telephone is an enhanced-level, multi-line telephone with an integrated LCD. The Norstar T7208 is intended for moderate call volume users such as office professionals and technical specialists.
	The Norstar T7316E Telephone is a full-featured, expandable, multi-line telephone that has a two-line, 16-character-per-line display which is menu driven and supported by three context-sensitive soft keys. The Norstar T7316E provides access to 24 memory buttons, 16 of which include multi-segment icons for fast and precise decision making. The T7316E telephone is designed for high call volume positions requiring access to extensive system features. Typical users include supervisors, managers, executives, and other business professionals.
	The Norstar T7406 Cordless Phone is a full-featured, multi-line telephone for businesses that would benefit from a workplace mobility solution. The Norstar T7406 covers an area of up to 282,000 square feet and supports 1-6 people, enabling your employees to be more productive while moving about the office. The Norstar T7406 is ideal for small enterprises, branch offices, retails, medical offices, warehouses and manufacturing environments.
	Nortel ATA II Norstar Analog Terminal Adapter. This Norstar analog adapter switches digital into analog in order to create single line capability. Converts the Norstar digital interface to analog for communication with such analog devices as single line telephones, fax machines, modems, and answering machines.
	Nortel CallPilot 100 R3.0 Voicemail (10 Mailboxes) Callpilot 100 includes 10 mailboxes expandable to 40 mailboxes. The Call Pilot 100 Voicemail for The Norstar Integrated Communications Systems is a state-of-the art messaging system for small to mid-sized businesses, with 10-40 mailbox users. CallPilot 100 is equipped with a built-in 10/100 Ethernet port, allowing connection to the LAN for advanced applications, including Auto Attendant, Customer Call Routing (CCR), Voice Mail, Basic Call Center, Web-based management, and IP connectivity.
	Nortel Call Pilot 150 R3.0 Voicemail (32 mailboxes) CallPilot 150 Voicemail delivers scalable advanced messaging to growing small and mid-sized businesses. Business sites with 25-300 users receive Voice Mail, with advanced applications and Basic Call Center. CallPilot is supported on the Norstar Compact and Modular Integrated Communications Systems 4.1 or higher, as well as all Norstar Telephones and Business Series Terminals. The Call Pilot 150 Voicemail R3.0 is an 8 port Voicemail, and boast 60 hours of storage time.
